Eminent Domain and Condemnation

The firm has specific experience litigating inverse condemnation matters in the context of regulatory and alleged property damage cases, including actions arising out of diversion of surface waters, stormwater, and sewer back-ups having successfully prevailed on special motions, as allowed by Code of Civil Procedure section 1260.040, which allows pre-trial entry of judgment as a matter of law in inverse condemnation cases.
